"Harry Blake + Wife Drummer 18th Ill. Vol. Inft."

The National Archives found no pension record for Harry Blake, Drummer of the 18th Illinois Volunteer Infantry. This may indicate that he was not injured and did not qualify for a pension. His military record has not yet been investigated. The Union County, Illinois Marriage Register does not contain an entry for the couple, so where they were married remains a mystery.
